If your car is a manual transmission, you must first press the clutch. After that, turn the car in the desired direction until the wheels are locked. Only then pull the handbrake for a few minutes before the car turns.

Release the handbrake once the car has turned in the desired direction. After that, straighten the front wheels and the steering wheel.

The above methods also apply to automatic cars. The difference is that you must reduce the gas pedal and shift the car into neutral mode before turning the car.
