Functional Toll Gending – Kraksaan Ready to Smooth Traffic for Nataru
Jakarta, December 2024, The mobility of drivers around Probolinggo and its surroundings is becoming smoother. This is because PT Jasa Marga will implement the Probolinggo – Banyuwangi Functional Toll segment Gending – Kraksaan during the New Year transition.
This preparation serves as a momentum to welcome Christmas and New Year 2025 for driver mobility in Java, especially East Java. The opening of this route aims to reduce congestion on the main route (Pantura road). In addition, this step also provides convenience for the community traveling during the Nataru holiday season.
Although it is functional, drivers are urged to remain cautious and comply with the applicable regulations. Officers in the field will provide directions to ensure safe travel.
Eastern End of the Trans-Java Toll Road
Clearly, this information is good news for Daihatsu friends. Especially for those who want to vacation around Banyuwangi to Bali. This is because the opening of the Gending – Kraksaan Functional Toll is part of the eastern end of the connected Trans-Java Toll.
Jasa Marga hopes that with the opening of this functional route, the community can experience the benefits of the functional toll. This is aimed at speeding up travel to the Eastern part of Java, especially through this Gending-Kraksaan Segment.

Mechanism and Period
The Gending – Kraksaan Functional Toll, which is 10.35 kilometers long, will be a choice for travelers. The mechanism is regulated by Jasa Marga for smooth operations in the field. Meanwhile, its operating hours are from 06:00 to 16:00 WIB.
In general, this functional route will operate one way from December 21, 2024, to January 5, 2025. The arrangement from December 21, 2024, to December 27, 2024, will be one way from Gending to the Toll Gate (GT) Kraksaan. Conversely, from December 28, 2024, to January 5, 2025, it will be open from GT Kraksaan towards Gending.
