Let's Find Out 5 Ways to Change Radiator Water
When you continuously start the car, it will cause the engine to overheat. Therefore, the presence of a radiator in the car provides the best solution.
However, due to frequent use, the radiator water will quickly run out and cause it to not function properly. So how do you replace the radiator water correctly? Let's take a look at the following review.
1. Draining the Old Radiator Water
The first step you need to take is to drain the old and murky radiator water. Before doing this, make sure your beloved vehicle's engine is cold.
This is necessary to avoid injuring your hands. Not only that, but also try to ensure that the engine is still running while doing this.
If you want to drain it, first open the cap of the radiator located at the top. Don't forget to also open the bolt that is still attached to the radiator water drain, precisely at the bottom of the vehicle's radiator.
2. Filling the Radiator Water
If all the water in the radiator has been drained, you can turn off your beloved vehicle's engine. Next, reattach the bolts on the radiator in their original places.
Open the bolt located at the air drain, which is used as a place to fill the radiator with special fluid.
You need to know that the special fluid commonly used in radiator water consists of various types.
So you have to choose which fluid is suitable for the condition of the car engine. You can even use mineral water or tap water.
3. Starting the Vehicle's Engine
After filling the radiator water with the special fluid, reattach the bolt at the air drain. Keep the radiator cap open. Then restart the vehicle's engine to ensure the radiator fan can spin. Let the engine run until the temperature gauge on the speedometer reaches halfway.

4. Refilling Radiator Water If It Seems Low
When the engine is running, you can monitor the condition of the radiator water to see if it is low or not.
If you feel the volume of water inside is still low, then add more radiator water with the same fluid until it reaches the maximum limit.
After filling, securely replace the radiator cap so that the radiator water does not evaporate or spill.
5. Checking the Reserve Tank
This needs to be done when you finish replacing the radiator water in your beloved vehicle. If the water inside is already dirty, then you can drain it and refill it with clean water or radiator coolant.
Maintaining stable conditions in the components of a four-wheeled vehicle is indeed necessary. This way, you can drive your beloved vehicle comfortably and safely.
You also don't need to worry if there are problems during the journey. Especially in the radiator section, which plays an important role in cooling the engine if it overheats.
