Going home would certainly feel incomplete without bringing souvenirs for relatives in the hometown. Sometimes, the abundance of souvenirs along with personal belongings makes the journey home by car feel cramped.

The issue of luggage is indeed related to the culture of Indonesian society, which loves to bring souvenirs for family. In fact, when going home, personal belongings are already quite a lot. Not to mention the number of family members who join the trip.

The cabin issue is always a compromise due to the many passenger items and luggage for souvenirs. One practical solution is to place items on top of the car. There are many ways to do this, but safety must be considered, both for the items and for vehicle control, namely an additional luggage box (Roof Rack).

Here are 6 types of Roof Racks that you can use when going home

1. Roof Bag

The Roof Bag itself is made of softer material because it is made from parachute fabric. Although it is only made of parachute material, its function is almost the same as a large bag for storing your items on top of the car. When choosing a roof bag, it is better to choose one that is waterproof to anticipate if it rains.

2. Roof Rack

The Roof Rack is an accessory in the form of a storage rack that is commonly placed on the roof of the car. The Roof Rack makes the vehicle cabin more spacious. The Roof Rack is an alternative for carrying more items when going home. Moreover, the installation of this device is also easy and makes your car more flexible even with items on its roof.

3. Roof Box

The Roof Box is one of the accessories that is widely used before the homecoming season during Eid. In theory, its function is indeed useful as a container for carrying items. The roof box comes in various types and sizes. Choose a product that has high durability and flexibility like plastic. In addition, the material and its coating are strong so that the color does not easily fade even when exposed to rain and heat during use. Furthermore, the Roof Box is easy to install and remove when not needed. Installation does not require drilling or making brackets because it can simply be clamped between the roof and the door.

4. Car Bags Carrier

In principle, the Bags Carrier makes it easier to carry your items during long trips. Functionally, the roof box or Roof Bag and Car Bags Carrier are almost the same. The only difference is in the installation method. If the roof box or roof bag is installed on top, the Car Bags Carrier is usually installed at the back of the car.

5. Roof Basket

This device provides comfort on top of your car, especially since it is structurally more robust. The roof basket is easier to use because it is already equipped with a net, so your items only need to be protected with a tarp to shield them from rain. Additionally, this device offers flexibility because it is not too heavy.
