Signs of Fuel Pump Problems
The first sign you can detect when the fuel pump is having issues is the engine sputtering and then dying completely. This usually occurs when the engine speed is high and the fuel pump is clogged with dirt.
As a result, the fuel supply becomes obstructed or even stops, preventing the car's engine from starting. This sign is caused by the fuel pump being clogged with sediment from the fuel tank.
So one way to fix a problematic injection car fuel pump is to clean the fuel pump from various dirt that has settled inside it.

However, it's not just dirt; a car engine that is difficult to start can also be caused by weak springs.
Weak springs cause the fuel entering the combustion chamber to be delayed, so the engine has to wait longer than usual to activate when the car is started.

This occurs due to the effects of incomplete combustion in the fuel chamber, resulting from the mismatch between the amount of fuel supplied by the fuel pump and the combustion timing itself.

How to Fix a Damaged Fuel Pump
You can also fix the injection car fuel pump when you find low fuel supply. When the car is off, disconnect the hose that connects the fuel and injector.
Then connect the fuel pump pressure gauge and arrange it in series or reverse. Once installed, try starting the engine.
Check the standby pressure and observe the displayed number. If the needle is at the standard number, then the fuel pump is not experiencing any problems.
If the needle fluctuates around 2 to 3 kpa, then the fuel pump is considered safe. However, if the movement shows 100 or 200 kpa, it means the fuel pump needs to be checked.
To address this, you should take the vehicle to the nearest workshop to avoid further damage.
If your vehicle has already suffered damage to that component, then the way to fix the injection car fuel pump is to replace it with a new pump package set.
After replacing the pump package set that contains the pump motor, fuel level gauge, filter, and IC control, your vehicle will regain its performance as before.
