This is How to Easily Install Ampere Dynamo Cables
The ampere dynamo or what is called an alternator is one of the car components that functions as a generator that produces electric current.
Therefore, this component is very important. So if there is a problem with this part, the car cannot be started.
Then, what if this connecting cable breaks? Here is how to easily install the ampere dynamo cable.
1. Ensure the Battery Terminals and Cables are Properly Installed
The main factor that must be considered to keep the ampere dynamo component in good condition is to ensure the condition of the terminals and battery cables.
This installation is a serious concern because if there is a mistake, other components will also be damaged. This will also happen to the electrical cables in the four-wheeled vehicle.
If the cable installation is not correct, the electricity that will be produced will be wasteful and will also cause the alternator to break quickly.
The installation of the battery cable and valve needs to be checked to avoid mistakes. In addition, the positive cable from the alternator to the valve must also be ensured to be installed correctly.
If not installed correctly, the cable on that component will break and you will have to find a way to reconnect the ampere dynamo cable.
This step can actually be done easily by measuring the correct position. You can connect the positive cable to the positive alternator according to its size.
So before connecting the broken cable, it is advisable to measure the position of the battery cable. For example, on an alternator with a terminal size of 12, the pair is a terminal cable size of 10 for the battery.
2. Ensure Proper Use of Electricity
The alternator is designed in such a way that it has a certain electric capacity. Therefore, it is advisable to pay attention to the use of electricity in the vehicle properly.
If electricity is used once or twice, the decrease in the alternator's capacity may not be significantly visible and nothing happens.
However, if this is done continuously, the decrease in the alternator's ability to produce electric current will occur, thus affecting the performance of the four-wheeled vehicle and the ampere dynamo cable will break.
You can find out how to properly install the ampere dynamo cable. This can be done by using additional tools, such as a screwdriver. To perform this step, it is better to turn off the car engine first.
Then remove the cable bolt located on the battery terminal if you have installed the problematic new cable on the car engine.
If you do not want your four-wheeled vehicle to be damaged in the ampere dynamo cable, it is advisable to take good care of it. To avoid these problems, one way to do this is not to turn on the AC, audio, electronic devices, wipers, and so on simultaneously.

3. Prevent the Positive Cable from Contacting the Ampere Dynamo
The next thing that can be done is to prevent the positive cable from contacting the alternator. If this happens, it will pose a risk of a short circuit or also known as a short.
This will cause the alternator or ampere dynamo cable to break and be damaged. Therefore, it is recommended to install a fuse on the positive terminal.
In addition, installing a fuse on the positive terminal must be done correctly. This is to ensure that the voltage produced by the ampere dynamo operates according to its performance.
Not stopping there, to avoid problems with broken cables and so on, it is advisable to check the condition of the alternator regularly at least once every 3 months.
4. How to Connect the Ampere Dynamo Cable
In addition to ensuring that the terminals and cables are installed correctly, there are other things you must pay attention to.
One of them is to ensure the position or tension level of the V-Belt of the four-wheeled vehicle is not too loose or too tight.
If it is too tight, the cable will break and you must immediately reconnect the cable.
The alternator system has three vital components, namely the battery, regulator, and the alternator itself. If the connecting cable is damaged or broken, you must replace it.
The way to do this is to open the regulator that connects the alternator voltage, then try to connect a new cable that you have prepared.
Meanwhile, near the regulator, there are two slip rings located on top of the rotor. On this side, the slip ring must be connected to the field winding so that it can move. Not stopping there, this part must also be positioned parallel to ensure it fits properly or is tightened with bolts.
