How to Unblock ETLE, Easy and Fast!
Understanding how to unblock ETLE is very important for drivers. This is because sometimes drivers are unaware that they have committed a traffic violation, resulting in a fine. If the fine is not paid within the specified time, the vehicle will be blocked by ETLE, preventing the owner from renewing the vehicle registration (STNK). So how can you unblock the vehicle? The details will be discussed in the following sections.
How to Unblock ETLE
There are several ways you need to know when your motor vehicle is blocked by ETLE. The methods are as follows.
1. Check fines and penalties
The first step you need to take when your vehicle is blocked by ETLE is to check for outstanding fines or unpaid fines. If you have outstanding fines, it is advisable to settle them immediately.
To find out if you really have outstanding fines or not, you can check the fine status online through the etle-pmj application or the website https://etle-pmj.info/id/check-data. The complete steps are as follows.
- Log in to the etle-pmj application or visit the website https://etle-pmj.info/id/check-data.
- Then enter the vehicle's license plate number, engine number, and chassis number according to the original STNK.
- Then click “Check Data”.
- If the vehicle you are using is not proven to have committed a violation, the information “No Data Available” will appear. If it is proven to have committed a violation, information regarding the time, location, violation status, and information about the violating vehicle will appear.
- Next, confirm the violation and vehicle ownership with the Korlantas authorities.
- Once the confirmation is received by Korlantas, they will send a fine letter.
2. Identify the vehicle
If you are sure that your vehicle did not commit a violation but is still blocked by ETLE, you need to contact the ETLE authorities. Before contacting the relevant authorities, it is advisable to prepare the necessary documents such as ID card, vehicle registration certificate (BPKB), vehicle registration (STNK), original vehicle purchase proof, and its photocopy.
3. Make the fine payment
If your vehicle is proven to have committed a violation supported by valid photo and video evidence from ETLE, you must immediately make the ETLE fine payment. For the payment method, you can do it through the following ways.
