kalkulator pajak kendaraan bermotor

The motor vehicle tax calculator is an online-based calculator system to determine the amount of vehicle tax that must be paid by taxpayers. This system is a service from the One-Stop Administration System (SAMSAT) that can be used in the online tax check application.

The main purpose of the motor vehicle tax calculator is to provide convenience. Taxpayers can check and pay the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) online without having to go to the SAMSAT office.

The amount that comes out from the calculation of the vehicle tax calculator is also an initial estimate, so it doesn't confuse when seeing the bill amount. If there is a delay, the amount of the fine will also be automatically displayed.

When paying vehicle tax, make sure to do it on time to avoid applicable fines. If the extension of the vehicle registration certificate (STNK) has not been carried out after the due date, then PKB and SWDKLLJ fines will be imposed.

Basis for calculating fines

The basis for calculating the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) fine is 1.5 percent of the selling price. The selling value of the vehicle will decrease each year, as vehicle prices also depreciate.

Meanwhile, for the delay in extending the STNK, the fine that must be paid is 25 percent. The process of calculating this PKB fine uses the formula:

PKB x 25 percent x length of delay / 12 (months).

For example, if you are late in paying the PKB for three months. Then the calculation is:

PKB x 25 percent x (3/12).

Or if delayed for 10 months, the calculation is as follows:

PKB x 25 percent x (10/12).

SWDKLLJ Fine

SWDKLLJ stands for Mandatory Contribution for Road Traffic Accident Fund. The name of the vehicle owner registered on this STNK is automatically registered for Jasa Raharja insurance.

If you are late in extending the STNK, a fine of Rp 32 thousand will be imposed for two-wheeled vehicles or motorcycles and Rp 100 thousand for cars.

Furthermore, this vehicle tax calculator is equipped with an online-based vehicle tax calculation formula feature. You just need to download it from the Play Store and search for the keyword "vehicle tax calculator" or e-samsat online (which is connected to all e-SAMSATs in Indonesia.

Once downloaded, here’s how to use the vehicle tax calculator system:

  1. Select your vehicle type, 2 wheels for motorcycles or 4 wheels for cars. This information is needed to determine the amount of Mandatory Contribution for Road Traffic Accident Fund (SWDKLLJ) that must be paid, Rp 35 thousand for motorcycles and Rp 143 thousand for cars.
  2. Enter the PKB value of the vehicle. The amount is stated on the STNK of the respective vehicle.
  3. Input the SWDKLLJ data from the vehicle. Just like above, the amount is also stated on the STNK of the respective vehicle.
  4. Calculate how long the payment delay is in years and months. Don't forget to round up. For example, a delay of five days is counted as a delay of one month.
  5. Click the Calculate Tax + Fine button.
  6. Wait a moment until the detailed breakdown of the tax amount and fines as well as the total cost appears on the screen.

The presence of the vehicle tax calculator is expected to make it easier for you and taxpayers who are still confused about calculating the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) that must be paid. Unfortunately, after being traced, this application can only be utilized by Android users, while it is still unknown when this application can be downloaded for iOS users.
