How to Eliminate Stress Due to Family Problems in an Islamic Way

Family is the people who are close to a Friend and at the same time the ones who are most often involved in problems with the Friend. From trivial issues to major problems can arise due to the closeness of the Friend as family.
Especially if the Friend has a family that is not harmonious, family problems can make the Friend stressed.
Ways to relieve stress caused by family can be done in many ways. Here are ways to relieve stress due to family according to Islam.
Increase Dhikr
Everyone certainly has problems and feeling stressed about those problems is a normal thing. Stress is the body's response to the conditions around us. In Islam, there are various ways to relieve stress. Friends can start by increasing dhikr.
The dhikr that Friends can recite when experiencing stress is the istighfar recitation such as "astagfirullah hal adzim". By reciting this dhikr, it means that Friends are asking for forgiveness from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala for all the sins committed, whether they are realized or not.
Increasing the recitation of istighfar and understanding its meaning can calm the heart if done with a sincere heart.
Believing in Bad Destiny
Being involved in problems with family is not a pleasant thing, especially if it is very serious. As a Muslim, Friends certainly know that believing in bad destiny is one of the pillars of faith, namely faith in qodho and qodar.
Believing in bad destiny is not an easy thing, unlike believing in good destiny. Because if the destiny is good, we will find it easier to accept because it is pleasant. Unlike bad destiny which is unpleasant. However, Friends need to believe that behind bad destiny there are many lessons and goodness afterwards.
Improving Prayer
Prayer is the pillar of religion, neglecting prayer means ignoring an important aspect of Islam. If Friends are experiencing stress, establishing prayer can be a stress reliever. Friends can ask for help from Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala to resolve the issue and calm the heart.
Get used to establishing prayer at the beginning of the time and pray with tuma'ninah (calm, not in a hurry). When Friends perform prayer with tuma’ninah, Friends will appreciate the prayer recitations more. This can be a special nourishment for a stressed soul.
Only Complain About Problems to Allah
Often humans complain about their problems to others. Yes, some are resolved, but most are not. Humans have limitations in helping. Not only that, humans sometimes are reluctant when being confided in with the Friend's problems. Even worse, the problem can spread to many people. This will make Friends embarrassed and only add to the stress.
The most effective way is to only complain about Friends' problems to Allah. Allah is the one who turns hearts. Pray for Friends' family to be able to yield and reconcile in the family matters that are happening. Most family problems arise because each party does not want to yield and maintains their own ego.
These are some ways to relieve stress due to family problems in an Islamic way. For Friends who follow religions other than Islam, Friends can adjust it to their beliefs. For example, Friends can get closer to God, pray often, believe that behind bad events there must be a good intention from God, and so on.
Most family problems occur because family members are less close to God. Thus, each family member prioritizes their ego over the common interest. In fact, living as a family is certainly not far from conflict. It is up to each of us to manage that conflict or not.
