Remove the Car's Original Antenna

The next step is to connect the cable between the part of the original car antenna that is still installed and the shark fin antenna. Generally, when purchasing a shark fin antenna package, additional bolts and cable sockets are included.
This cable will later be connected to the part that attaches to the car antenna. The way to do this is by screwing it in with a screwdriver until it is tight; after installation, try turning on the car's head unit and ensure the radio frequency is still captured.
Attach the Antenna
Remove the protective layer of the double tape on the surface of the shark fin antenna, then stick it to the car and ensure the antenna position matches the mark you made earlier with the temporary marker.
Clean the Temporary Marker Stains
Once the antenna is perfectly installed, the last step is to clean the temporary marker stains that were previously used as marks with a cloth or tissue.
