1. Check via the official Samsat NTB website

To find out the amount of vehicle tax in NTB, you can check through the official e-Samsat website of NTB. The steps are as follows. 

• Open your laptop or mobile phone, then open a browser and visit the following website https://esamsat.ntbprov.go.id.
• Wait a moment until the site displays information about the e-Samsat provisions and the flow of e-Samsat NTB.
• Scroll down the site until you find the “INFO PKB” form.
• In that form, there are several fields such as “DR/EA”, “NOPOL”, and “Region”.
• Fill in the “DR/EA” field according to the license plate code of your area. As is known, for the NTB Province, there are two initial license plate codes used for vehicles, namely the DR code and EA. The DR code is usually used for several areas such as Mataram City, West Lombok Regency, Central Lombok Regency, and East Lombok Regency. Meanwhile, the EA plate code is used in several areas such as Sumbawa Regency, West Sumbawa Regency, Bima City/Regency, and Dompu Regency. 
• Then fill in the “NOPOL” field with the four-digit number on the license plate. Example: 8888.

2. Check via the Bappenda (Regional Revenue Agency) NTB website

In addition to the official e-Samsat website, checking vehicle tax in NTB can also be done using the Bappenda NTB website. The steps are as follows. 

• Open a browser on your laptop or mobile phone, then visit the official Bappenda NTB site at https://bappenda.ntbprov.go.id/informasi%20Pajak%20Kendaraan. 
• Wait a moment until the site opens and displays the “Motor Vehicle Tax Information Services” page.
• On that page, there is a form containing three fields, namely “Region Code”, “Police Number”, and “Region Code”.
• Fill in all three fields with the vehicle license plate that you will check. Example: DR 8888 AAA. 
• Once done, press the “INFO PKB” button and your vehicle tax bill will automatically appear. 
• If there is a disruption while checking, you can press the “RESET” button and check again. 

3. Check via SMS

The last method, you can check the NTB vehicle tax through the SMS service. The steps are as follows. 

• Open the SMS application on your phone.
• Then type a message in the format “ESAMSAT” (space) “Vehicle license plate” (space) “Engine number or the last five digits of the vehicle chassis number”. Example: DR_8888_AAA_11225. 
• Then send it to the number 0812-3393-4000.
• Wait until you receive a reply message regarding the vehicle tax bill information.
