If the injectors are clogged, the fuel supply to the combustion chamber will also be restricted, which can lead to reduced engine power.

2.   Clogging can spread to intake manifold

Another negative impact if you continue to use high sulfur fuel in diesel engines is that clogging can spread to the intake manifold. This can actually cause your engine to lose power.

The buildup of deposits in the intake manifold does not happen instantly, as it usually becomes noticeable after driving the car over 70,000 km.

3.  Shorter lifespan of catalytic converter

The negative impact of using high sulfur diesel fuel is that it can shorten the lifespan of the catalytic converter in your vehicle's engine. This component is useful for filtering exhaust emissions to keep them within safe limits.

If you continuously use unsuitable fuel, it can make its performance increasingly unstable.

4.   There are deposits in the fuel lines

Deposits in the fuel lines can occur due to the use of high sulfur diesel fuel, which can trigger excessive acid levels. These deposits in the fuel lines disrupt engine performance.

5.   Causes air pollution

The high use of high sulfur fuel can lead to air pollution. In this case, the exhaust gases from the engine, when mixed with air, can form sulfur dioxide, which can be harmful to the body when inhaled.
