To facilitate public access in managing official traffic documents, the Traffic Directorate of the Police has launched a mobile SIM service. This mobile SIM service can be utilized by the public to manage SIM extensions for both regular SIM C and SIM A. For those residing in Jakarta, it is very important for you to understand the schedule of mobile SIM services in Jakarta along with their locations as follows.

Locations Serving Smart SIM Extensions Through Mobile Units

The mobile SIM service and SIM kiosks have been implemented for several years by the Metro Jaya Police. The aim is, of course, to make it easier for the public so that they do not have to queue too long at the Metro Jaya Police office just to manage their SIM. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the mobile SIM extension service is still available at 5 locations in Jakarta. 

Here are the five locations where mobile units are deployed for SIM extension services along with the schedule for mobile SIM services in Jakarta:

1. East Jakarta

If you reside in East Jakarta, you can manage your SIM extension at Green Terrace Taman Mini. The operational hours for the mobile SIM service are from 08:00 to 15:00.

2. Central Jakarta

For those residing in Central Jakarta, you can manage your SIM extension at ITC Cempaka Mas on the south lobby side. The operational hours for the mobile SIM service are from 08:00 to 15:00.

3. North Jakarta

For those residing in North Jakarta, you can manage your SIM extension in the Daan Mogot area at the SIM Satpas parking lot. The operational hours for the mobile SIM service are from 08:00 to 15:00.

4. South Jakarta

For those residing in South Jakarta, you can manage your SIM extension at Trilogi Campus in the Kalibata area. The operational hours for the mobile SIM service are from 08:00 to 15:00.

5. West Jakarta

For those residing in West Jakarta, you can manage your SIM extension in the Daan Mogot area at the SIM Satpas parking lot. The operational hours for the mobile SIM service are from 08:00 to 15:00.

Locations Serving Smart SIM Extensions Through SIM Kiosks

In addition to mobile units, you can also extend your SIM at various SIM kiosks located throughout Jakarta. 

1. Taman Palem Unit

The operational hours of the Taman Palem unit are from 08:00 to 12:00 and it is open from Monday to Saturday.

2. Gandaria City Unit

The operational hours of the Gandaria City unit are from 12:00 to 18:00 and it is open from Monday to Saturday.

3. Pluit Village Unit

The operational hours of the Pluit Village unit are from 12:00 to 18:00 and it is open from Monday to Saturday.

4. Artha Gading Unit

The operational hours of the Artha Gading unit are from 12:00 to 18:00 and it is open from Monday to Saturday.

Documents Required for Extending Smart SIM

There are several documents that you need to prepare to extend your SIM at the SIM kiosks or through the mobile SIM service. 

1. Old SIM with a photocopy
2. Filled SIM extension form (available on-site)
3. Original ID card with a photocopy
4. Health certificate (can be done on-site)

The schedule for mobile SIM services in Jakarta and SIM kiosks may vary slightly and depend on the operational location. You can choose to extend at either of these two places depending on your location and available time.
