From Which Area Do Vehicles with Plate N Come?

1. Malang City

In Malang City, motor vehicles have a license plate code starting with the letter N and ending with the letters A/B/C/E. Example: N 1111 AA.

2. Malang Regency

For Malang Regency, the plate starts with the letter N and ends with the letters D/F/G/H/I/J. Example N 1111 HI.

3. Batu City

For Batu City, the vehicle plate starts with the letter N and ends with the letters K/L. Example: N 1111 LA.

4. Probolinggo Regency

For Probolinggo Regency, it also uses plate N as the starting letter of the code. And it ends with the letters M/N/P. Example N 1111 MA.

5. Pasuruan Regency

For Pasuruan Regency, the vehicle plate starts with the letter N and ends with the letters O/T/W. Example: N 1111 OW.

6. Probolinggo City

For Probolinggo City, it still uses the letter N as the starting code of the vehicle plate. However, it ends with the letters Q/R/S. Example: N 1111 QC.

7. Lumajang Regency

For Lumajang Regency, the vehicle plate starts with the letter N and ends with the letters U/Y/Z. Example: N 1111 UY.

For Pasuruan City, the vehicle plate starts with the letter N and ends with the letters V/X.

How to Check N Plate Vehicle Tax

There are several ways you can do when you want to check the tax of your East Java vehicle with plate N. Here are the methods.

1. Check tax offline

The first way, you can do it offline by visiting the Samsat where your vehicle is registered. Make sure to bring important vehicle documents if you want to inquire about vehicle tax at Samsat.

2. Check tax online

If you are lazy to queue at Samsat, you can do the second option, which is to check the tax online. For online checking, there are several methods you can choose. Here are the details.

Check Via E-Samsat Jatim Site

First, visit the site https://info.dipendajatim.go.id/esamsat/. Then select Samsat according to the vehicle's origin. Enter the police number, fill in the captcha security code displayed on the site. Then press the "Check Vehicle Data" button. Wait until the site page displays information regarding the tax amount.

Check Via Bappeda Jatim Site

Visit the site https://info.dipendajatim.go.id/index.php?page=info_pkb. Then select Samsat according to the vehicle's origin. Enter the police number, fill in the captcha security code displayed on the site. Then press the "Search" button. Wait until the site page displays information regarding the tax amount.

Check Via E-Samsat Site

Visit the site https://e-samsat.id. Then select the Province according to the vehicle's origin. Enter the plate number, 5 digits of the chassis number, serial number on the site page. Then press the "Check Now" button. Wait until the site page displays information regarding the tax amount.

Check Via SIGNAL App

Download the SIGNAL app first on your phone and install it. Then register your personal data. Once done, select the "Add Motor Vehicle Data" menu. Then enter the 5 digits of the chassis number, then select the "NKRB" menu. Wait until the tax amount information appears. 

Check Via SMS

Send a message via SMS to the number 0811-2119-211 with the format: Info(space)license plate number.
