• Open a browser on your phone or laptop, then access the official Samsat East Kalimantan website at the following address http:simpator.kaltimprov.go.id/lantas/infopkb.php
• Next, the website will display the main page containing information about motor vehicles. On that page, there is a police number column to find out your vehicle's identity and tax. 
• Fill in the police number column. Example: KT 1134 N.
• Then, click the “Process” button next to that column.
• Next, the website will display information about the vehicle tax bill along with complete vehicle identity information.

2. Check via the e-Samsat.id website

In addition to the official Samsat East Kalimantan website or SIMPATOR, vehicle tax checks can also be done via the official Samsat Indonesia website. Here’s how to do it. 

• Access the website https://e-samsat.id/kalimantan-timur/ through your phone or laptop. 
• Then fill in the form data listed on the main page of the website. From the plate code, plate number, serial number, to the last five digits of the vehicle chassis number. 
• Next, select “Kalimantan-Timur” from the “Select Province” menu.
• Next, click the “Check Now” button, and the website will display the complete vehicle tax bill along with vehicle data. 

3. Check via the SIGNAL application

In addition to the website, vehicle tax checks are also available in mobile applications. One of them is the SIGNAL application or National Digital SIM. Here’s how to use it. 

• Open the Appstore or Playstore on your phone, then download the SIGNAL application. 
• Once downloaded, don't forget to install the application. 
• Then create a SIGNAL registration account if you do not have a SIGNAL account. The creation process is quite simple; you just need to fill in your personal data according to your ID card, active email address, contactable phone number, email password, and upload a selfie. 
• Once done, you will receive an OTP code from the application sent via SMS or email. Enter the OTP code into the SIGNAL application. 
• Log in to the application, and select the “Add Motor Vehicle” menu.
• Next, click the “Registration of STNK Validation” button.
• The application will then direct you to a page containing the police number column. You just need to fill in that column with your vehicle's plate number. Example: K T 1134 N. 
• Once done, click the “Continue” button, and the amount of vehicle tax you need to pay will appear along with the checked vehicle data.
