Effective Study Time Tips Based on Activities

Study time may be more closely associated with activities often carried out by students or college students. Most learning activities are indeed intended for school children. However, the learning process is actually not limited to the status of being a student. Therefore, knowing how to divide effective study time is also important.
Tips for effective study time include knowing the ideal time for the brain to work according to its optimal function. It is natural for each person's study time to differ because everyone has their own time management and brain function usually cannot be used to focus on the same activity continuously. Let's take a look at effective study times based on brain performance.
1. 07:00 AM – 09:00 AM
This study time may be very similar to school study time. When classes start, the lessons that begin the earliest can usually be absorbed with more enthusiasm. The body is still fresh and the air is also comfortable for studying.
If studying at home, this time frame can also be effective. However, it is advisable to maintain a routine of showering and getting ready as if going out to activities. This will help increase stimulation in the brain to stay motivated to learn.
2. 09:00 AM – 11:00 AM
The learning atmosphere during this time frame is still quite ideal because the brain functions sharply after sufficient sleep and breakfast. Studying in the morning is also good for eye health and keeps the body alert. Usually, reading books or study materials during these hours can make it easier for the brain to digest information.
If high concentration is needed for studying, try to schedule activities during this time frame. Various sources indicate that brain function is optimal for analysis and creative processes. Therefore, this time frame is crucial for encouraging more productive routines.
3. 11:00 AM – 02:00 PM
This time frame may be interrupted by lunchtime, but sleep hormones are sharply decreasing. So, this time range is actually suitable for tackling difficult tasks. The study time does not need to be a full two hours. Take about 30 – 60 minutes before or after lunch to focus on heavy assignments.
4. 03:00 PM – 06:00 PM
Most people may start to feel sleepy in the late afternoon, but this time frame is still quite effective for collaboration. If there are group assignments, use this study time to discuss. There is no need to push the brain too hard; engage in more relaxed activities while still having light interactions that stimulate the brain.
5. 06:00 PM – 08:00 PM
After relaxing in the afternoon, it's time to optimize brain performance by working on personal tasks. As night approaches, the atmosphere around you will be quieter and less noisy, allowing the brain to focus more on completing tasks. Many people feel more comfortable planning in the evening due to the calmer atmosphere.
To be more prepared for activities the next day, try to evaluate the lessons and schedule activities for the following day. This can help maintain a person's productivity in tracking daily achievements. A well-planned brain focus will also support better sleep quality.
Well, those are effective study times according to brain activity. Following a routine from the morning allows brain function to work in harmony with changes in the natural environment. Collaborative time is also more optimal when done with others. Happy studying!
