Ciri-Ciri Injeksi Mobil Rusak, Ketahui Penyebabnya!

The car injection system is a system that functions to deliver fuel from the fuel tank to the combustion chamber. Given its very important function, as a car owner, you must understand the signs of a damaged car injection system along with its causes. The signs and causes are as follows.

Signs of a Damaged Car Injection System

When the car injection system is damaged, the following signs may appear.

1. The car is difficult to start

The first sign of a damaged car injection system can be noticed when you are trying to start the car. A damaged car injection system will make the car difficult to start. Even to start the car, you may need a long time.

2. The car stutters and makes a rough sound

The second sign, the car's speed becomes stuttery, heavy even when the gas is pressed. Additionally, a rough sound may also appear.

3. The car easily stalls

If you often experience the car stalling, it indicates that there is a problem with the injection system in the car.

4. The engine indicator lights up

The fourth sign, the engine indicator on the car will light up. This occurs because the engine indicator functions as a detector feature for the car if there is a component failure.

5. Thick smoke with a gasoline smell from the exhaust

The fifth sign, the car's exhaust will emit thick smoke accompanied by a gasoline smell. This condition is usually caused by an incomplete combustion process due to insufficient fuel supply.

6. Excessive fuel consumption

The last sign of a damaged car injection system is that the car's fuel consumption becomes more excessive than usual.

Causes of a Damaged Car Injection System

After you know the signs of a damaged car injection system, next you need to know the causes of the damage along with how to address them.

1. Fuel pump failure

A damaged car injection system is usually caused by a failed fuel pump which causes an unstable fuel supply to the combustion chamber. To address this, you need to replace the fuel pump with a new one.

2. Problematic spark plugs

The second cause is due to problematic spark plugs or worn out. This spark plug damage causes suboptimal engine combustion because the spark plugs cannot produce a spark.

3. Idle Speed Control (ISC) issues

The third cause is due to problems with the ISC. The ISC functions to supply air during the fuel combustion process. If the ISC is dirty or damaged, it causes unstable idle RPM, starting issues, and damage to the throttle and car injection system. To address this, you need to clean the ISC regularly. Replace this component if it is worn out.

4. Weak battery voltage

The fourth cause is due to weak battery voltage. As is known, the cranking RPM of the car has a standard of approximately 800-1000 RPM. Meanwhile, the battery functions to increase the car's RPM. If the battery voltage is below the standard RPM, it will hinder the fuel combustion process. To address this, ensure the battery condition is always optimal. Replace it immediately if the battery is weak.

5. Leaking fuel hose

The fifth cause is due to leaks in the fuel hose. This condition causes the fuel combustion process and engine to be hindered due to reduced fuel supply. To address this, you need to replace the fuel hose with a new one.

6. Use of inappropriate fuel

The sixth cause is due to the use of fuel that does not meet the car's fuel standards. To address this, you need to know your car's fuel standards. Ensure that the RON of the fuel used is appropriate or higher than the standard.

7. Rarely serviced

The last cause is due to a lack of maintenance on your car, causing issues with the car's injection system components. To address this, you need to regularly check the condition of your car. Immediately service at the nearest official Daihatsu workshop if signs and symptoms of damage to the car components appear.
