Mass Air Flow That Struggles to Detect Air Mass

One of the car components that affects the car's RPM is the mass air flow. This component functions to detect how much air mass a car receives.

There are times when this component does not function properly. If that happens, this component cannot read the incoming air mass correctly. This will affect the amount of gasoline entering the car, causing the car's RPM to fluctuate.

Clean the Car Components That Affect Car RPM

From the previous discussion, we can conclude that the fluctuation of RPM is often influenced by the cleanliness of several important components. Especially, components that can affect the car's RPM. Such as ISC and Throttle Body.

Cleaning these components is the solution. For ISC, try cleaning the actuator and idle hole. The way is, you just need to open the ISC and clean those parts. Specifically for the idle hole, try cleaning that part with a spray cleaner.

As for the Throttle Body, you can clean the blackened valve part. You can do it yourself if you want. However, if you have difficulty, you can take it to the nearest official workshop.

This solution also applies to the Mass Air Flow. For this component, you need to clean its sensor using a carbon cleaner.

Check the Sensor Part on the Mass Air Flow

This solution is only aimed at the Mass Air Flow. If this component has problems, try checking the sensor part first. You can clean it directly if the sensor part is dirty. 

However, if the sensor is damaged, you can scan that part and then repair it. Make sure to disconnect one of the car battery cables when doing this. This is done to avoid damage to other engine components.
