The condition of a car that is difficult to start is certainly very disturbing to the comfort of the four-wheeled vehicle users. Especially if you are in a hurry to start activities using the car.

1. Insufficient Battery Voltage 

The main cause that often occurs with this problem is that the battery voltage is no longer sufficient or nearly depleted. This happens because the car battery has been used beyond its limits. 

To detect it, you can use a tool called a voltmeter and multimeter that is part of the four-wheeled vehicle's battery. 

This measuring tool will show the remaining battery voltage on your car. Therefore, you can immediately replace the battery if the voltage is approaching the depleted limit. 

If the starter becomes light and easy to start again, it means that the cause is definitely the battery voltage that is indeed insufficient or nearly depleted.

2. Weak Fuel Pump Components

Not only battery voltage is the cause of a heavy car starter when the driver wants to start the four-wheeled vehicle. Because, the fuel pump can also cause symptoms and conditions that can occur. 

This is because the part of the engine channel that is directly connected to the vehicle's fuel tank is called the fuel pump. If the fuel pump cannot work optimally, it will affect the uneven fuel supply. 

This causes the car to be heavy to start. If this happens, it is better to immediately replace the fuel pump component so that the car's performance can work optimally again. 

3. Problems with the Spark Plug 

The next cause is that there is a problem with the car's spark plug. The spark plug has problems due to a lot of dirt or the gap of the spark plug is too tight or too loose. 

To ensure the cause of the heavy car starter, you can do this by removing the spark plug first and cleaning it. After that, reinstall it correctly. 

4. Carburetor Affected by Water

In certain types of four-wheeled vehicles that still use carburetor components, it can usually cause the car's starter to be heavier when starting. 

This happens because the condition of the carburetor is affected by water or flooding that is quite significant, making it difficult to start the car. 

To check the car's condition further, you need to inspect the carburetor by removing it first. 

If the carburetor is found to be excessively wet, you need to readjust the float section. This can be done by placing it back in the correct position to determine the cause of the heavy car starter.
