Besides cherries, bananas can also make you feel sleepy. The difference is that bananas contain vitamin B6 which can convert tryptophan in the body into serotonin, making you feel more relaxed.

10. Almonds

Believe it or not, almonds can stabilize your heart rhythm. Why? Because almonds contain high levels of tryptophan and magnesium. These two components help relax your body and gradually make you feel sleepy.
